Scanner Photography/Painting

It was recommended to me that I try utilizing my scanner in lieu of a camera for capturing images by my photography professor. The work that came from it was interesting to me, but as I try to do with any new idea or technique, I strive to make it my own. Thus was born "scanner painting", the outcome of work from this technique interests me significantly and I plan to experiment with it further. So far I have begun a series using this technique entitled, "...and suddenly Jack The Ripper had an idea." Enjoy!
